Update to add to the rumors: I was told from an inside source that AT&T employees just went through iPhone training sessions and have been informed no vacations are permitted during the two-weeks following the June 9th announcement. hmm

I scored mine from a worker at a local video game store who sold me one out of the trunk of this car. Apparently these guys buy them up and sell them on eBay for profit. I guess he saw how determined I was to bring one home and sold me one for $100 (going for up to $150 on ebay).

I hope these come back in stock soon for all to enjoy!

So sorry iPhone phan!

First, that was a dream because don’t forget, I paid $599.00 for mine. I did get a $100 rebate after they dropped the price. So it’s a bargain at $399.00.

Second, there is no Verizon version - unfortunately you have to jump ship, eat the contract cancellation fees and sign your life away to AT&T. Apple has a multi-year exclusive contract with AT&T where they didn’t publicly announce the official length, but it’s rumored to be 2-5 years in length. And it’s still the best phone available even with a shitty phone company.

There are plenty of Verizon look-alikes I hear though.
